YARD  SALE!

With your contributions, some good weather, and a little bit of luck, we should be successful once again in raising money for our church emergency fund and mission projects. Your support in the form of either donated items or participation as a volunteer wil be greatly appreciated.

How To Donate

  1. See list of suggested donations below
  2. Donations may be brought to the church (Fellowship Hall) beginning Tuesday June 3, keeping in mind church office hours which are Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Larger furniture items should be brought as close to the sale date as possible due to lack of storage space, and not before Wednesday, June 11.
  3. Please price EACH item. In setting the prices for each item, consider the condition adn the current retail price. Please be realistic in setting prices.
  4. Absolutely no drop-offs teh day of the sale.
  5. Note: Large items that do not sell must be picked up by the donor by June 22nd because we will be holding a blood drive in Fellowship Hall on June 26th.
How to Volunteer
Simply sign the "VOLUNTEER" sheets that are posted on the bulletin board by Fellowship Hall.
Volunteers to sort and price items will work from 7 9 p.m. on the evenigns of June 3-6, June 9 and June 11-13.
Volunteers for the Sale date should sign up for blocks of 2 hours or more between 7 am and 4 pm.
If your schedule allows you to fit in multiple assignments, we can certainly use the help.

Donation Suggestions

Appliances TVs, radios, mixers, bath scales, CD or tape players, computer equipment (Please state on teh price tag or on a piece of masking tape attached to the item whether the item is in good working order or if repair is needed)
Arts & Crafts Pictures, supplies and/or creations
Baby Furnishings High chairs, play pens, potties, porta-cribs, safety gates, back packs, car seats, strollers, mobile monitors
Baked Goods Cakes, coffee cakes, pies, cookies, bronwies, breads, etc. To be sold whole or by the piece wrapped individually.
Books Children's books are good sellers. Please no textbooks unless publishing date is 1990 or later.
Camping Equipment Tents, stoves, lanterns, sleeping bags, back packs
Clocks and Watches In working order or only needing a battery
Household Items Lamps, rugs, chairs, kitchenware, wall hangings, curtains. NOTE: Do not bring large items to the church until a few days before the sale. Any LARGE ITEMS that do not sell MUST BE PICKED UP BY THE DONOR after the sale
Jewelry Earrings, bracelets, cufflinks, necklaces, tiaras
Musical Instruments From kazoos to trombones
Pet Supplies Toys, beds, crates, leashes, collars
Plants All sizes, fresh (indoor or outdoor), or silk
Records, CDs, tapes In good condition
Sports Equipment (Small Items Only) Golf Clubs/bags, tennis rackets, basketballs, footballs, exercise equipment (no weight benches), baseball gloves, ski equipment, roller blades, hockey sticks and skates
Tools Hand and power, garden, mechanic, tool boxes
Toys Fischer-Price and Playskool items, dolls, balls, board games, puzzles, outdoor play equipment, sleds video games
Vehicles Bikes, trikes, big wheels, wagons
CLOTHING IS NOT A BIG SELLER AND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
NO WEIGHT BENCHES PLEASE
