Walk For Hunger

Walkers: The BPC Team meets at the church early on the morning of May 4 for the "Blessing of Feet" with Rod. Then we carpool to Alewife and start the walk together. some walk a short distance, some try for all 20 miles. Everyone is welcome! If you coose to walk a shorter distance, there are busses to get you back to the start. Volunteers: Project Bread makes use of volunteers in a variety of roles -- crossing guards, cheerleaders, check-point workers, etc. If you'd like to help in this way, call 617-723-5000 or go online at http://projectbread.org. Sponsor the BPC Team: Sign the pledge sheet on the bulletin board outside the front classroom. If possible, we'd like to turn in our pledges at the walk, so we'd like to collect them by Sunday, April 27th, but would be grateful for later pledges as well. 10 sponsors at $10 each will raise $100 and provide 200 hungry people with hot soup and a sandwich at a soup kitchen.
