Cool Comings:

In the past year, we have had numerous interesting and exciting events, including a scavenger hunt, a walk, a Rock-A-Thon, a weekend retreat to Nobleboro Maine, a trip to a corn maze, and a sugar-intense gingerbread house making event (with the houses being auctioned off for charity).

Instead of telling you about all these events, here are some pictures of the Cool Comings gatherings.

Part of the scavenger hunt was getting your picture taken in a mirror. Pastor Rod MacDonald helped this team get extra points for having an extra person.

The Cool Comings kids had to "rock" all night long. This picture was taken after the sugar and before they got sleepy.

Among the many activites on the September retreat to Maine was walking up a mountain. And then walking back down.

At least it was beautiful at the top.

If walking up and down a mountain wasn't enough for one day, after we got back we swam and canoed across the lake.

Once all the adults were exhausted (the kids were fine!) we got the fire ready before evening devotions.

It was hard to tell if more sugar got on the gingerbread houses being prepared to auction off for charity, or on the young people making them.
